Feeling better today, although I couldn't keep liquids down this morning. We saw Dr. Lymberis to go over the results of Tuesday's scans, and here's what the report says:
"Again noted are innumerable hepatic metastases. The lesion previously measured in the dome of the liver measures 3.5 x 2.7cm and was 4 x 3.1cm. The lesion in the lateral segment measures 2.4 x 1.9cm and was 2.4 x 2.2cm. The large confluent mass in the periphery of the right lobe of the liver now measures 9.9 x 6.7 cm and was 13 x 7.6cm. Innumberable other hepatic metastases are seen. The necrotic portacaval lymph node now measures 2.6 x 1.1cm and was 3.6 x 2.4cm. The lytic lesions appear stable."
This means that the cocktail is working. All of the tumors they are using as markers shrank by about a third in only 4 treatments.
